About Me
I am a seasoned Software Engineer with a robust background in developing secure and scalable solutions at Sprinklr, 23andMe, and Cisco Systems. My expertise includes automating security monitoring, architecting CI/CD pipelines, and leading cloud migration projects using AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins. I have a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions, and I am passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation and enhance user experiences.
Experience
Cloud Engineer @ Sprinklr (January 2025 - Present)
Software Engineer II @ 23andMe (August 2024 - January 2025)
- Implemented solution to secure AWS infrastructure and PKI encrypting and decrypting files and rotating keys, with automated key management with KMS, for ensuring GDPR compliance for genetic data files on blob storage.
- Optimized and scaled distributed systems in AWS, reducing latency by 40% and increasing throughput by 30% for genomics data pipelines processing millions of records daily.
- Technologies Used: Jenkins, Docker, AWS EC2, S3, Python, CI/CD
DevOps / Data Engineer @ Scry AI (January 2024 - May 2024)
- Architect and deploy CI/CD pipelines managing builds, releases and deployment for AI products and engineer pipelines using Jenkins & GitHub webhooks for automated deployments. Created workflows generating metrics for ML model performance tests, penetration test & security scans, code quality, release notes, and auto-documentation.
- Developed robust and secure software solutions leveraging diverse AWS Services such as Lambda,S3,and EC2 and engineered deployment workflows to create secure, lightweight docker images, cutting critical vulnerabilities and speeding up deployment by 30%.
- Technologies Used: Jenkins, Docker, AWS EC2 , S3 ,GitHub Webhooks/Actions, Nginx , HAProxy, CI/CD
Solutions Engineer Intern @ SolarWinds (July 2023 - August 2023)
- Instrumenting OpenTelemetry microservice-based application by setting up a cluster using EKS Fargate and on bare metal in a distributed environment to demonstrate trace and spans to easily find metrics and logs of application using OpenTelemetry.
- Technologies Used: Kubernetes, Docker, Podman ,HAProxy
Information Sciences Institute , ISI @ University of Southern California (August 2022 - May 2024)
- Selected in top 4 students of class of Fall 2022 to conduct research under principal researcher Prof. Carl Kesselman.
- Designed database model for research modeling using Deriva for scientific collaboration enabling real-time experimentation and research modeling for biomedical applications making capturing, managing, and curating data seamless.
- Developed a database model for research modeling and bulk data management which makes capturing, managing, and curating data seamlessly. Integrated the solution with Apache Airflow using GitHub versioning for automated checkout and versioning enabling dataflow automation.
Software Engineer II @ Cisco Systems (January 2020 - July 2022)
- Worked with the Enterprise Service Platform Team and designed and built integrations between Cisco internal Services to automate activities helping save developer and management time. During my role I had led with various teams helping them to host their business logic and actively managed over 300 integrations by actively developing features. I have strong working knowledge of Javascript , C, C++ and Python and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
